Our Curricula and Schedules

Infant curriculum (6 weeks–18 months)

We categorize our infant curriculum and classes into young infant care (ages 6 weeks to 12 months) and older infant care (12 months to 18 months). By delineating at these ages, we can focus on helping your infant mature at an appropriate developmental rate. Our young infant courses focus on building muscle strength and gross motor skills; developmental activities hone sensory perception, as well. Each child spends time interacting with mobiles and other stimulating sensory materials in a nurturing and loving atmosphere.

Our older infant curriculum continues to build on motor skills, cognitive brain development and speaking skills. Memory, language and thinking are reinforced through basic word development (words like “ma ma” and “da da” are common), and we encourage them to transition from sitting and crawling to standing. We also offer infant yoga and sign language. The little ones love the yoga practice, which strengthens their core muscles and further establishes balance, flexibility and coordination, and the ASL-based sign language helps them develop bigger vocabularies and enhanced cognitive abilities.

Toddler curriculum (18 months – 2 years)

Our toddler curriculum is centered on structuring the children’s daily routines while fostering intellectual growth, learning and independence. Our curriculum includes activities that build on fine motor skills, form the mathematical mind, assist in language development, and teach grace and courtesy for social development. This is done through clipping, pasting, and wrapping activities that increase the children’s physical development, matching, tracing and assembling. They also help improve cognitive abilities and chances to interact with the natural world around them by building on listening and stewardship skills. Most importantly, your toddlers will be loved, nurtured and cared for by attentive, compassionate teachers.

Transition curriculum (2 – 3 years)

Our junior preschool program provides two-year-olds with engaging and meaningful activities that will help improve their vocabulary, stimulate their senses and build on fine motor skills and social skills. Our classrooms are intentionally designed to meet the physical needs of children at this age, offering a large selection of furniture and activities that will help build their physical development. Areas of learning are defined, yet space is open allowing for natural social interactions and development. We also focus on helping children improve their large muscle movements, hand-eye coordination and life skills (pouring, sweeping, dusting, setting a table, etc.).

Primary curriculum (3 – 6 years)

Unlike traditional classrooms that focus each child on learning the same thing at the same time and in the same way, our curriculum emphasizes learning as a process that is individualized based on a child’s age and abilities. For this reason, we utilize mixed-age groupings that encourage children to feel confident in their developmental level before progressing to the next stage. The Montessori method emphasizes that each child goes through a unique development/learning process, and each child can learn new concepts within his or her capacity. What really makes our program stand out is the joy we see on the children’s faces: They’re eager to come to class, excited to learn and engaged with each other and their environment in positive ways.

Give your child the benefits of a Montessori approach to outperform in their life.
